Want to join a class where you don’t have to wear lycra and be taught by a teacher who understands not everyone can do the fancy exercises and stretches?!
Our small group pilates classes are created by a Sports Therapist and an experienced teacher who will make you feel at ease, safe to exercise and make sure you are doing it correctly. This 3-week course is ideal for anyone who’s done Pilates before and wants to ease back in gently, rebuild confidence, and feel the benefits again — fewer aches, more strength, and better flexibility.
We’ll go over key moves, stretch out tired muscles, and help you reconnect with your body in a small, supportive group.
After the course, you’ll be ready to join our regular Intermediate Pilates classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays (afternoons and evenings available).
We’d love to welcome you back to pilates whether you have done it with us or someone else.
- We care about how you are doing the exercises
- We walk around the room to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly and safely and modify if necessary
- Join other people like you who have the same worries about not being very bendy (often over the age of 40)!

Useful information
What to wear for your beginners pilates trial class:
Please wear clothing that is stretchy and comfortable so that you can move without feeling restricted or self conscious. This could be a t-shirt and leggings or tracksuit bottoms. During the pilates class you won’t be wearing shoes and it is up to you if you wish to keep your socks on or not.
What to bring with you for your pilates class:
- Please bring a towel which you can use to support your head.
- If you have your own yoga mat please bring that with you. Please let us know if you don’t have a mat so we can have one ready for you. If you are thinking of purchasing a mat we recommend at least a 1cm thickness for comfort. We do have mats and equipment available to purchase.
- Please also bring your body, mind and a bottle of water with you!
